Invites Application From Unmarried Male Candidates To Join As Airman
in Group 'X' (Technical) Trades For Selection Test in September 2008
Eligibility:
1. Qualification: Candidate should have passed intermediate/ 10+2/
Equivalent examination with pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with
a minimum of 50% marks in overall aggregate.
OR
Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/
Electronics/ Automobile/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Technology/
Information Technology) with atleast 50% marks from a Govt. recognized
Polytechnic/ Institute.
2. President Central Airmen Selection Board reserves the right to
shortlist the applications on the basis of available vacancies and
number of eligible applicants.
3. Age: Born between 01 January 1988 and 29 February 1992 (both days inclusive)
4. Medical Standards: (a) Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5
cm (b) Chest: Minimum range of expansion : 5 cm (c) Weight:
Proportionate to height and age (d) Vision: Minimum Visual Standard:
Unaided 6/36 corrected to at least 6/9 each eye with spectacles.
Apply Details :
Application should be in A4 size paper only. Non-standard application
formats will be rejected. The following are to be sent along with the
application:
(a) Three copies of unattested recent (taken on or after 17th May
2008) passport size colour photograph (front portrait without headgear
except for Sikhs), one of which is to corner of the application form.
The photograph is to be taken with CANDIDATE HOLDING A BLACK SLATE IN
FRONT OF HIS CHEST WITH HIS NAME, DATE OF BIRTH AND DATE OF PHOTOGRAPH
CLEARLY WRITTEN ON IT WITH WHITE CHALK IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Photographs
should be only on good quality "Photo paper". Change in physical
appearance with photograph is not admissible at the time of reporting
for test.
(b) Attested copies of Marks sheets & Certificates in support of
educational qualification. Attested copies of Matriculation/
Equivalent Examination Certificates/ Mark sheets in support of Date of
Birth.
(c) One unstamped self addressed 24cm x 10cm White envelop of good
quality, stamped/ pinned with the application form.
(d) Out side the envelope containing the application write clearly (i)
"FOR GROUP 'X' (TECHNICAL) TRADERS" (ii) AGGREGATE PERCENTAGE OF
MARKS.................% IN CLASS XII/ DIPLOMA (iii) Son of serving/
Discharged/ Deceased Officer/ Airman/ NC(E)/ Air Force Unit Cadre
Civilian {SOAFP} (if applicable) to be annotated in RED INK.
Last date for receipt of applications: 06th June 2008.
